Avlabari

Located on the eastern bank of the river, Avlabari is Tbilisiโ€™s oldest part. Avlabari still has important attractions, including the prominent Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, which is the cityโ€™s tallest edification and can be seen from around town. Marjanishvili

Located north of Avlabari on the eastern banks of the Mtkvari, Marjanishvili is a hip and young part of the city which has is frequently touted as one of the best neighborhoods for remote workers in Tbilisi. Fabrika, an old textiles manufacturing plant which has been repurposed as a huge complex complete with a co-working space, restaurants and bars can be found in this neighborhood. The area has been recently renovated, making for new and more comfortable apartments available. Marjanishvili is not within walking distance of the main cultural and historical attractions but it is very well-connected with the rest of the city via public transport.
