The heart of Sofia is well connected to the rest of the city via metro links and is the busiest part of the city. Congested with local traffic and pedestrian tourists, this part of town is noisy and crowded. The are boasts some of the region's best architecture and many of the country's best hotels. Rents here will be expensive, but you would be at the heart of all the action, and close to all the major attractions.
