You can get here by bus from Bucharest (3-4 hours) or a train to Mangalia (3.5 hours, 12EUR) and then a taxi from there to the beach at Vama Veche.

This old, charming town has cultural influences spanning the width of Europe and offer visitors plenty of fantastic dining and lodging options. Hiking the Tampa Mountain for sweeping views of the town is a popular thing to do here. Getting to Brasov by car is easy from Budapest (2.5 hours) and also by train from Gara du Nord (2.5 hours, 60 Leu).
