Larnaca has so much to offer along its shores and museums that you will constantly enjoy new experiences across town, yet it is a relatively small city and, with a whole island to discover, youโ€™ll definitely want to know about the best day trips from Larnaca for remote workers. With great infrastructure and a useful intercity bus service, it is easy and affordable to take a trip outside Larnaca and see some of Cyprusโ€™ other beauties.


Cape Greco - Ayia Napa

Located east of Larnaca, the Ayia Napa municipality of Cyprus is a recognized nightlife resort popular with young people for its popular nightclubs and bars. The town itself offers great amenities to tourists but the real highlight of a visit here is a trip to the Cape Greco National Park with covers a beautiful headland with a colorful lagoon, rocky shores and mysterious caves. The day trip is easy - take one of the Intercity buses from Larnaca to Aiya Napa for just for 4EUR and then catch a local bus there straight to the Cape Greco National Park.


Paphos

Paphos certainly provides for one of the best day trips from Larnaca for remote workers This old city, located in western Cyprus is the islandโ€™s other most popular city and offers rich cultural and historical attractions to those interested in the regionโ€™s past. Paphosโ€™ Archeological Park is renowned worldwide for its ruins associated with the goddess Aphrodite, and the city itself was one of 2017โ€™s two EU Capitals of Culture. The city can be quite lively at evenings but on the whole feels more relaxed than Larnaca and less touristic. There is a strong remote worker community here and the city has a number of great coworking spaces.


Getting to Paphos from Larnaca is easy - take an local city bus from Aradippou to Kofinou and then catch the Intercity service straight to Paphos. The trip takes around 3 hours by bus.


Limassol

This city located on the southern Cypriot coast, makes for one of the best day trips from Larnaca for remote workers because of its modern vibe, beaches and sense of community. The city has a wonderful promenade that doubles as a park and runs right alongside the beach, making it the perfect space for a walk during the evenings. Like Paphos, Limassol offers lots of historical and archeological sites of interest, as well as good restaurants, cafes and coworking spaces. To get to Limassol, you can just catch an Intercity service straight from Larnaca. We recommend visiting in February/March and catching the colorful Limassol Carnival!


Nicosia

Nicosia is one of the most fascinating best day trips from Larnaca for remote workers.
